Carnaval III

Carnaval III was commissioned for the corporate offices of a Detroit-based international business. It was designed with fun colorful shapes to engage employees and visitors. The strong architectural lines of the space provide a perfect canvas for this sculpture as it meanders through the 2nd floor down to the executive office corridor.

April created hand-blown glass shapes in various sizes utilizing both opaque and transparent glass in Carnaval III, the playful shapes cavort throughout the space as if in a happy dance.
