S3 Delta

S3 Delta was commissioned to celebrate the grand opening of the new Strategic Staffing Solutions corporate headquarters in Detroit. The sculpture was designed specifically to be hung on the wall of the executive wing of the S3 offices in the historic Penobscot Building.

One of the goals for commissioning the sculptures was to specifically honor S3’s coming of age. The emerald green color of the sculpture is the S3 company color. The shapes of the glass pieces are loosely formed “S” and “3” shapes. The piece was inspired by the company’s mission more so than its physical surroundings. The sculpture is meant to bridge the gap between the corporate mindset and artistic creativity.
