Created for the entry stairwell of a private residence, Suncerre is a kinetic sculpture, turning softly in space. Meant to be joyous and vibrant using a powerful, bold color and dynamic, strong spaces, this sculpture blurs the line between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional, engaging the viewer no matter where they are in the space, below looking up or at the 2nd story looking down. Designed to look delicate and airy, yet engineered to be strong and secure, Suncerre is truly a magnificent sculpture.
